Week 1 - February 16, 2026
NE10 Player of the Week
Joey Gallo, SNHU
Junior I Attack I Derry, N.H.
Gallo is off to a strong start with a combined seven goals and seven assists in the two wins over Felician and No. 11 Molloy. He scored three times, and added five assists vs. Felician, and then led the Penmen with four goals and two assists vs. Molloy. Gallo also collected two ground balls and had a caused turnover. Gallo also had two hat tricks while leading the 2025 Penmen with 35 points.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Ries Bower, Adelphi
Junior | Close Defense | Lethbridge, ALB
A 2-0 week for Adelphi men's lacrosse saw junior Ries Bower anchor a defense that held opponents to single digits in both games. He totaled six caused turnovers across two games and collected seven ground balls. Against Frostburg State he caused a trio of turnovers and accounted for four ground balls in the victory.
NE10 Goalie of the Week
Matt Roy, SNHU
Junior I North Andover, Mass.
Roy started in goal in both wins for the Penmen against Felician and Molloy. He played a little more than a half in the opener, allowing two goals in 36 minutes. In the 10-8 win over No. 11 Molloy, Roy made 18 saves. His save percentage for the week was .706.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Lasse Volquardsen, SNHU
Sophomore I Attack.I Frankfurt, Ger.
It was quite an impressive collegiate debut for Lasse Volquardsen with seven goals and eight assists in the season-opener vs. Felician last Monday at the NH Sports Dome. Volquardsen scored the team's first goal of the season and potted his goals on just eight shots. It's the highest-scoring game for an individual in the NE10 era for SNHU (and maybe all-time). SNHU's 27 goals in the game were a new program mark. Lasse would also add a goal in the win over No. 11 Molloy on Saturday.
